Picking Gradual Bends
First, we bend a note a full step and gradually release the bend. While we release the bend we’ll pick the string. This creates a great bluesy sound. Next, we’ll gradually perform a bend and pick the note as it rises in pitch. Sounds great!

A pull-off is an articulation technique that is performed on a string that is already vibrating. The fretting finger is pulled off to sound a different note on the same string that is lower in pitch. In notation, it is represented by a āPā.
